this is done in watercolor pencil (just without the water)
i finished it mid 1997 (when i was just about turning 12) and had never scanned it because of it's size. Then i came up with the bright idea of taking a digital picture.
do comment if you desire.

AWESOME! if I were you, I'd take a soft sponge, and lightly dampen the kitty......soften some of the lines...
shading is nice, good use of colors, considering it's watercolor pencil!

i thought about it a couple times
that would take reframing it though, it's currently in a bamboo frame from indonesia, and the backing is basically glued on. i don't find it worth the time and energy.
thanks for the grade-a constructive criticism though!

Well this picture is very nearly famous isn't it? Hehe, how could I NOT comment on it? As always, it was the monoment of jealousy in my younger years. We all figured we'd never accomplish such as this masterwork. I really do enjoy it. I doubt I could do that quality of work even now colored pencils. Truly stunning and great color and detail in the leopard.

we lucked out
my dad had already gotten rid of all the stuff from indonesia
but we had a 'relative' that we didn't know too well die and leave us all kindza stuff from over there.
it just happened to be the right size.
